Driver documents and requirements
The required documents to rent a car at Autos Mallorca are: ID or passport, valid driver’s license (digital format not accepted), and a bank card.
Regarding the minimum age to rent a car, you must be at least 21 years old and have had a valid driver’s license for at least two years. Additionally, drivers aged between 21 and 24 must pay a surcharge of €8 per rental day.
As for the maximum age to rent a car, you cannot exceed 75 years for safety reasons for both the driver, the passengers, and the vehicles. Moreover, drivers aged between 70 and 75 must pay a surcharge of €5 per rental day.
Modifications and cancellations
You can make any type of modification or cancellation to your reservation at no extra cost, but you must notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled time of your reservation. If you want to cancel after that, you will only be charged for the first rental day.
If your flight is delayed, there is no extra charge unless the vehicle is delivered outside office hours, which carries an extra cost of €30.
Additionally, once you have picked up the car, you can extend the reservation as long as there is availability for the upcoming days. However, if you return the car later than the agreed-upon time, you will be charged €60 for every 60 minutes of delay.
Vehicles and extras
We offer manual and automatic vehicles with seating capacities ranging from 4 to 9 passengers. At Autos Mallorca, we ensure to provide high-quality, nearly-new cars. All rental vehicles are a maximum of two years old.
Additionally, all extra services are included in every booking: full-coverage insurance with no excess, full-to-full fuel policy, unlimited mileage, roadside assistance, and up to 3 additional drivers at no extra cost.

Payment methods
How does airport pick-up work?
Our offices are strategically located just 5 minutes from the airport. Upon arrival, we will pick you up quickly at the designated meeting point. This ensures a smooth and efficient pick-up process so you can start your trip without delay.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
There are no charges for flight delays unless the vehicle is delivered outside office hours, in which case there is an additional cost of €20.
Fuel Policy
We deliver our vehicles with a full tank of fuel. When returning the car, simply make sure to fill the tank to the same level. There are no additional commitments, and you are freed from any concerns about returning the vehicle with a specific fuel level.
What if I need roadside assistance?
If you need roadside assistance due to a breakdown or accident, you can contact our agency for instructions.
We are not responsible for any items left in the vehicle. Outside office hours, contact emergency services directly by calling 112.
Do you offer a replacement vehicle in case of an accident?
Yes, if the accident is the other party’s fault and no replacement vehicle is available, the rental price for the remaining days will be refunded. However, no replacement will be provided if the vehicle is rendered unusable due to an accident for which the customer is responsible.
Policy for lost or broken keys
Lost or broken keys are not covered by insurance. The customer must cover the cost of key replacement and any associated additional expenses.
What happens if I can’t return the vehicle to the specified location?
If you do not return the vehicle to the designated location, the rental will continue until it is delivered or reported lost or stolen. If we need to collect the vehicle from another location due to customer negligence, a charge of €1.50 per kilometer will be applied (minimum €20).
